Guest Coach
Howdy Wahoos parents!
I’m happy to announce that we will have a guest coach this Wednesday and Thursday, David Farfan. He is a former Wahoos coach and offered to provide some outside expertise in preparation for the upcoming Prelims and Finals meets in a few weeks. Here is his bio:
David Farfan has swam in the Houston area since the age of five. He was a national ranked swimmer for the 100 and 200fly, 200fr and 500fr. He swam internationally for the national team of Guatemala and El salvador. He swam division 1 collegiate level swimming. He coached Episcopal to their TAPPS Division III state swimming championship. He coached the Jr. & Senior development classes as well as the Masters team at Katy aquatics where he received his ASCA level 4 credentials. He is currently working at the Village High school as the Learning Support Specialist and as their Swim Coach has lead the team to two second place high point titles.
