This one is a doozy… we have a lot of events coming up, so this will be a hefty email. I apologize in advance!

Morning Practice Thursday:

HISD is finally done after Wednesday, so we switch to morning practice on Thursday morning. The practice times will be as follows:

Camp Practice Tuesday-Thursday (if your 5-10 year olds cannot make their practice time due to conflicts): 6:30-7:15 AM

6U: 7:15-8:00 AM

7/8: 8:00-9:00 AM

9/10: 9:00-10:00 AM

11/12: 10:00-11:00 AM

13+: 11:00 AM-12:00 PM

Night Practice Monday-Thursday (11-18 years): 9:00-10:00 PM

Picture Day Friday

We have picture day on Friday. Individual pictures will begin at about 8:30 AM. Please bring your photo order forms. The photographer typically has some extras, but it’s easier to bring your own. I have the file attached to this email. There will be no practice this day.

The pre-ordered signs from Crafts 4 Coaches will also be handed out that morning.

Please bring your swimmers in a swim suit, preferably the team suit, if you have one.

The group photo will be taken when individuals are done. This is expected to be around 9:00/9:15 AM.

Kona Ice will be in the parking lot during pictures and Chicken Salad Chick will be distributed 10:00-10:15 AM.

Swim Meet Saturday v. Bellaire

It’s time for our first Dual Meet! The theme for this Saturday will be Luau, so wear your Hawaiian shirts and leis- get festive!

5-8 year old swimmers arrive at 7:30 AM for check-in. The meet starts at 8:30.

9-18 year old swimmers arrive by 10:00 AM for check-in. The meet starts at 10:30.

Parking: The Trafton and Red Elementary parking lots will be open at 7 AM.

Concessions: County Line Cookers and the Mooseum Ice Cream Truck will be at the meet. We will also be selling chips, candy, sodas, Gatorades, waters, sparkling waters, and bracelets (Crafts 4 Coaches). You can pay with cash or Zelle.

Monday Swim Meet v. South West United

We have quite a quick turnaround time for our second meet. It is scheduled for Monday, June 13^th. The theme is USA, so come in Red, White, and Blue!

5-8 year old swimmers arrive at 3:30 PM for check-in. The meet starts at 4:30.

9-18 year old swimmers arrive by 6:00 PM for check-in. The meet starts at 6:30.

Los Tios Spirit Night Tuesday

We will hold a spirit night on Tuesday, June 11^th from 3:00 PM-9:00 PM at the Los Tios on Beechnut. Let your server know you’re with the Wahoos and 20% of your ticket will be donated back to the Wahoos!
